1. Who is responsible
Armand de Beer, trading as Vextral Systems, is the data controller for this website. Vextral Systems and ProtoCall are trading and product names, not separate legal entities.

2. What this website does not collect
The company pages are static. There is no account system, no contact form and no payment process, so there is nothing here that asks you for personal data.
- No cookies. The site sets none, so there is no cookie banner and nothing to consent to.
- No analytics or advertising. There is no tag manager, no measurement script and no advertising pixel in any page.
- No third-party requests. Every asset, including the typefaces, is served from this domain. Opening a page does not reveal your IP address to a font host, a CDN or any other service.
- No profiling and no automated decision-making.
3. What the server records
Hosting is provided by IONOS. As with ordinary web hosting, the server keeps request logs that may include your IP address, the date and time, the path requested, the response status, your browser's user-agent string and any referring page.
Those logs exist so the site can be kept available, so faults can be investigated and so abuse or attack traffic can be identified. That is the only purpose they are used for. They are not combined with anything else, not used to build a profile, and not copied into a marketing list.
Lawful basis: legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) UK/EU GDPR — operating and securing a website. The interest is limited to keeping the service working and safe.
4. If you email
The addresses on this site are ordinary mailto: links, so an email goes directly to info@vextralsystems.com and is handled like any other correspondence. What is processed is whatever you choose to put in the message.
Correspondence is used to answer you and to keep a record of what was agreed or reported. Please do not send confidential plant data, credentials or personal data about other people unless it is genuinely needed for the question you are asking.
Lawful basis: legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) — responding to an enquiry; or Article 6(1)(b) where the exchange concerns a contract with you or steps taken at your request before entering one.
5. How long anything is kept
Server logs are kept only for as long as the hosting service retains them, or longer in the specific case where a log is needed to investigate a security or reliability incident.
Email is kept for as long as the matter is live and afterwards where a record is needed — for example a commercial agreement, a security report or a tax record. Correspondence that no longer serves a purpose is deleted.
6. Who else sees it
IONOS processes hosting logs as a processor, because it runs the servers. The email provider processes correspondence for the same reason. Nothing on this site is shared with an advertiser, a data broker or an analytics provider, because none are used.
Information may be disclosed where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
7. Your rights
You have the right to ask for access to the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to have its processing restricted, to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, and to receive it in a portable form where that applies.
Ask by emailing info@vextralsystems.com. In practice, for a visitor who has only read pages, the only record likely to exist is a hosting log entry, which is hard to link to a person without further information from you.
If you are not satisfied with how a request is handled you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland at dataprotection.ie.
8. The ProtoCall software

9. Changes
If the site starts doing something this notice does not describe — adding a form, a measurement script or an embedded third-party service — this notice is revised at the same time, and the version and effective date above change with it.
